Totally understand.
I think the comments by the parents/doctors/friends is what always drove me the most crazy, and still does.
I’m so sick of hearing it. I went through a long phase of saying “FUCK IT” and lying to everyone. Saying I was taking care of it. Watched my a1c climb to 11+ because of it.
I’m still working on letting go of that.
